Water and Sanitation

With access to water, communities will be able to transform current conditions and move towards sustainable land and food security use. This will transform agricultural practices leading to reduction of poverty and optimization of health.

EDUCATION

  • Assist in paying tuition and levies, purchase books, teacher training, computer courses, and help re-build old schools.

  • Providing a meal to children on school days, mainly the youngest pupils.

  • Adult education in reference to above projects; classes on how to care for chickens, goats and on managing micro-finance so that the profits are re-ploughed back into the projects.

HEALTH & NUTRITION

Rural and marginalized communities face many challenges in addressing health. We seek to provide and make accessible resources for providing appropriate health services for vulnerable and marginalized communities. Nutrition is a key component for health, especially in Southern and Central Africa, where food shortages hamper development and exacerbate poverty. Through sustainable farming, communities will be able to provide for themselves nutritious and affordable food.

Community Gardens

GOAT PROJECTS

  • Rearing goats that can be used to provide milk, meat, or sold for cash.

  • Providing employment for the community in the project.
